Our Trainer

Trainings are conducted by Dr. DeShannon Burrell.  DeShannon brings over 25 years of experience in the mental health, childcare, and health care fields.  She loves people and is very passionate about training.  

She is Executive Director of Louisiana Human Care Connection, Inc., serving individuals who are mentally and/or physically disabled. 

She is a Certified trainer with LA Pathways- Northwestern State University of Louisiana, training Childcare owners, directors, and staff.  She is also a state trainer for Direct Service Workers and Personal Care Attendants.  She provides Caregiver training on a personal and professional level. 

DeShannon is an Independent Trainer with Safe Sitter, providing Life Skills and Safety training to youth.

DeShannon is a wife and mother.  She treasures her family and those whom she serves. She has an amazing team who works alongside her in all of her endeavors.
